The game has a lot of humor, a plot that involves a “record” called NSR that controls the city of Vinyl City using EDM, or electronic music.

No Straight Roads is a Rythm Game with very unique features, we had already played its demo on Epic and for a while downloaded the wooden leg version but we preferred to wait for the release on Steam to be able to check the game honestly and also encourage devs for the great audiovisual work of the entire work.

During an audition for NSR, indie rock band Bunk Bed Junction formed by guitarist MayDay and drummer Zuke finds themselves totally rejected by boss Tatiana who claims that rock has been extinguished from Vinyl City and that EDM is the only musical style what the city needs. So Mayday and Zuke stage a revolution by storming the shows and defeating NSR’s top performers to free Vinyl City from the label’s tyranny.

The game masterfully mixes Action and Platformer elements with Rhythm Games, a look that is very reminiscent of SEGA’s also spectacular Jet Set Radio and Space Channel, even if you don’t like Eletronica music, it’s impossible not to rock the boat of boss songs, or even while wandering through the scenarios looking for collectibles, the game has moments for all tastes, from rock to rap with the fun DK West brother of Zuke.
